Coldest Night of the Year YYC 2021

22/01/2021

When it launched in 2011, Coldest Night of the Year was a fundraiser for three charities in two  Ontario cities that in its first year raised almost $112,000 to serve people who were experiencing "homelessness, hunger, and hurt." Since then, the event has expanded across the country and raised more than $33,500,000.

Alberta Women's Advocacy Association is pleased to announce that we will be participating in the (COVID-19-safe) walk on February 20, 2021! We know how important it is to support the most vulnerable members of our community, and through initiatives like this, we can raise awareness of the important work being done by groups like Coldest Night of the Year and the organisations they support.

This year in Calgary, funds raised by the Coldest Night of the Year event will go to Feed the HungryHomeSpace Society - KAIROS Calgary, The Mustard Seed, and The Brenda Strafford Centre. We encourage you to explore the incredible work these groups are doing in Calgary.
